This course is established by Dean 2023-05-23. The course syllabus is approved by Head of Department of Industrial Economics 2026-04-20 and applies from 2026-04-20.
Admission to the course requires completed courses of at least 90 credits in a technical area. In addition, completed course in Technology venture 1: Innovation and Business Development or equivalent is required. English 6.
The aim of the course is for the student to develop the ability to commercialize technology-based value propositions and innovations, and realize them in the form of a company. The course also aims to develop the student's knowledge of product launch, the role and form of the business plan, forms of financing as well as planning and preparation of a business start-up. A further aim is to deepen the student's understanding of the role and conditions of entrepreneurship.
