This course is established by Head of Department of Creative Technologies on Delegation from the Dean of the Faculty of Computing 2016-09-30. The course syllabus is approved by Head of Department of Creative Technologies 2016-10-01 and applies from 2016-10-01.
Admission to the course requires the student to have completed 15 credit points C or C++-programming, 15 credit points 3D-programming, 6 credit points Objectoriented Design, 6 credit points Algorithms and Data Structures, 6 credit points Realtime Systems or Operating Systems, 6 credit points Linear Algebra and 4 credit points Professional Technical Communication.
The aim of the course is to deepen and broaden the knowledge and understanding on modern real-time rendering programming interfaces. The student will critically identify, design, implement, benchmark and document a real-time rendering and/or computing technique where central processing unit (CPU) and graphics processor unit (GPU) interactions are central.
The following learning outcomes are examined in the course:
Modes of examinations of the course
Code | Module | Credit | Grade |
1705 | Assignment | 2.5 credits | GU |
1715 | Project | 5.0 credits | AF |
The course will be graded A Excellent, B Very good, C Good, D Satisfactory, E Sufficient, Fx Failed result, a little more work required, F Fail.
The information before the start of the course states the assessment criteria and make explicit in which modes of examination that the learning outcomes are assessed.
An examiner can, after consulting the Disability Advisor at BTH, decide on a customized examination form for a student with a long-term disability to be provided with an examination equivalent to one given to a student who is not disabled.
